West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has issued the advertisement for the job of Sub Inspector in Police (Armed & Un-Armed) & Lady Sub Inspector (Un-Armed) in West Bengal Police recently. There are total 400 posts. The eligible candidate can apply for this job through the official website of WBPRB @ policewb.gov.in before last date. - Lady Sub Inspector (Un-Armed) - 30 Posts
Eligibility Criteria -
- The candidate shall be from amongst the Constable & Assistant Sub Inspector of Police of West Bengal & Havildar/ Naik/ Lance Naik & Rifleman of E.F.R Bns having minimum 3 (three) years of satisfactory services as on 01/01/2015. However the Police Drivers & Wireless Operators of West Bengal Police & Police Drivers of EFR of Battalions are Not Eligible for this post. Candidate having pending departmental proceedings, currency of punishment, pending criminal/ vigilance case will not be eligible.
- Age Limit - The age of the candidate must not be more than 35 years as on 01/01/2015. The upper age limit will also be relaxable for 5 years & 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to the SC/ST Category & OBC-A/OBC-B Category of West Bengal.
- Educational Qualification - A degree of recognized University or its equivalent.
- Application in prescribed format should be submitted on-line using the exclusively website policewb.gov.in.
- Applicant are required to upload scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph (size 20-45 kb) full signature (3-15 kb) & No Objection Certificate issued by the respective Unit-in-Charge.
- Candidate should collect the verified copy of "No Objection Certificate" containing his/her particulars as per prescribed format. from the unit Reserve Office. Such NOC should be signed by the Units-in-Charge i.e. Commissioner of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commandant/ other.
- The copy of NOC should be scanned uploaded during submission of Online Application.
- Obtaining the NOC from the Unit is the responsibility of the applicant.
- Applicants must retained the original copy of NOC which should be produced before the Board during the Physical Measurement & Personality Test.
- On successful submission of application, the applicants shall be provided with an auto generated receipt with unique application serial number. Candidates are advised to preserve it safely & mention the Unique Application S1. No. for all future communication.
